Marketing strategy & media budget planning starts early

 With many of our clients keen to drive their businesses forward in 2013 / 2014, Northern Light Media have immediately begun the process of planning clients marketing and media budgets this week. Meetings with all clients are scheduled over the next two weeks which will consist of:

 
1. Analysing the success of the their business in 2012
2. Analysing the success of 2012 marketing and advertising campaigns
3. Re-visiting clients financial and commercial targets and objectives for 2013 / 2014
4. Discussing potential changes to product and services portfolios
5. SWOT analysis
6. Brainstorming new sales and marketing ideas 
7. Assessing any changes in market conditions
8. Identifying existing or planned changes to their business
9. Discussing the critical success factors for 2013 / 2014
10. Identifying and planning some target milestones and KPI’s 
 
Client account managers will then discuss all key information with account directors and together begin to produce a chronological plan of strategies and costs aimed at helping clients achieve their objectives. Each strategy will be married with a specific objective so the client has a clear indication of the purpose of each marketing and advertising campaign and what it is expected to achieve. 
 
The marketing strategy will then be presented to clients and feedback invited. Following discussion, the plan is then revised and re-submitted until all parties are in agreement. Of particular importance is achieving the balance between the client’s financial ambitions (growth) and the budget.
